Out Of Space... A Warning And An Ultimatum'
A
space traveller and his indestructable robot 'Klaatu'
arrive at the White House bearing a peace
offering; a device that will solve world
hunger. Unfortunately the Military decides
they better shoot first and ask questions
later. The result is a robot who better
hear the right three words soon or he will carry
out plan 'B'; the destruction of the planet.

Encounters Of The Third Kind
'We are not
alone.'
Richard
Dryfuss is a power worker who is called out to
investigate a power failure. After being
scanned by a UFO his mashed potatoes take on a
new significance. Piling them up on his
plate he announces: "this means
something". His wife is not
amused. she packs up the kids and leaves
him. Meanwhile he
builds a mountain in his living room. At least
when he goes to make contact with the Mother
ship and military does try to stop him, one
Scientist helps him get on the ship. No one is
killed this time.

1979: Alien
'In space
no one can hear you scream.'
Reality
check. Just when you thought it was safe
to go back into outer space, here they
come. They hatch inside us. They
burst out of our stomachs. They have acid
for blood and they don't plan to take yes for an
answer. Better alert the military again.

1982:
E.T.
The Extraterrestrial
'His
adventure on Earth.'
Spielberg
makes us feel warm and fuzzy with a cute
advanced horticultural Space traveller who knows
to stay away from adults and work with
kids. When E.T. phoned home we all wanted
to lend him the dime and help out. Hey maybe
these Alien guys are okay after all.
